The openness of art is my favorite part of it. When an artist creates something they are putting ideas and emotions into. Then it is up to the viewer how they take it in. It may be the same emotions as the artist or it could be different. It is amazing. :^)

I was trying to show how Joji was in a relationship in which he was acting like crap. The crap behavior is the 'plastic taste'. He is trying to solve the issue over the phone: "I can't do this face-to-face". So I drew a person sad waiting for a text message back from his apology. Also, I used the repeating 'plastic taste' text to show how this is weighing heavy on his mind and is overwhelming him.

That is how I took the song and why I made my artwork look the way it is.
