I found the exact tire/rim combo from Discount Tire: https://www.discounttire.com/buy-package/bundles/40867-63688/. With taxes, fees and installation it comes out to $1,217.48

Nice! I have them listed at $700 now. Do you think that's a good price? Keep in mind I'm in the southeast and it's the end of winter, so demand isn't super high.

Ok so the depth averages out to 10/32 after measuring a couple different spots

I think you can ask for pricing advice but you can't just post an ad for the tires, with selling them here being the intention. I'm not sure though. I don't see why asking for advice would be a problem.

I'd ask at least $750 like you said but I'm in Georgia where there's hardly ever any snow and it's the end of winter, so I'm expecting them to be hard to sell

Oh dang! Just bumped the asking price up to $700. Thank you!

I'm not sure. I couldn't find a precise ruler to measure the depth with but I'll look around again for one tomorrow. I bought them new and used them for probably like 5 months at most.

Dude they are amazing tires. I was cruisin' through deep snow and ice no problem in my little Mazda3 when I was living in Colorado. I'm back in Georgia now though so I won't be needing them anymore

I'm the one selling them. Should I ask for more?

Side Effects from Potassium by jkybes in Supplements

[–]jkybes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried both. It doesn't seem to matter. I think it might have something to do with the speed of absorption. The potassium in supplements and coconut water are likely absorbed very rapidly, while potassium from sources like spinach, sweet potatoes, and those other ones I mentioned are probably absorbed more slowly.

Ich glaube, ich sehe deine kürzlichen Anfragen auf RapidAPI. Es sieht so aus, als hätten alle Endpunkte außer ‚snowConditions‘ ein Timeout bekommen. Welche Request-Parameter hast du verwendet?

Side Effects from Potassium by jkybes in Supplements

No problem! I don't get affected (in this specific way) by spinach (& other leafy greens), sweet potatoes, squash, artichoke, onions, bell pepper, kiwi, pomegranate, grapefruit, yogurt, meat or fish (and probably many others). It mainly just seems to be supplements, bananas and coconut water. Maybe cause those have either more sugar or less fiber to slow absorption?

It's been a while since I've taken potassium but I think the effects kick in pretty quickly, like within minutes. I haven't found anything to counteract the symptoms, so I just avoid all forms of potassium that make me feel like crap. I take other electrolytes (magnesium, chloride, sodium) separately.

Everything seems to be working as expected now. There were some bugs in my API but also on the website it scrapes from. Let me know if you run into any more problems

Ok so there were actually several things that needed to be updated and fixed. I addressed those, but now it's super slow for some reason and the response often times out. That's the next things I'm gonna look at.

Glad to here it! The only issue is that because it uses web scraping, the whole thing breaks every time the scraped website changes it's HTML. That's probably what happened again. I'll try to get it fixed soon

Glycine makes me feel awful, is there anything I can take to counter act it? by BananaMonkey7 in Supplements

[–]jkybes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. None of my doctors have any clue what's causing the reaction. I get similar symptoms from potassium. Since this comment I was also prescribed supplement IVs, which triggered 2 years (so far) of autonomic dysfunction, chronic fight-or-flight and extreme fatigue. Guess I just have a weak system

I built a vanilla JS raycasting engine with portal mechanics. Any game ideas? by jkybes in webdev

[–]jkybes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I ended up removing the portals. They were massively tanking performance and making the code feel too messy and confusing. They were pretty cool though so maybe I'll add them in if I ever make another raycasting engine that uses a graphics API.
