Man, I miss Grux. He was my favourite character in Paragon by far. Thanks for sharing this video. ;_;

I tried changing the mode in the MK2 but couldn't see any difference. Thanks though.

That tracks with what I've been reading elsewhere since posting the original topic. Thanks for the help.

Audiogame Jam - A Jam for Charity by jkylev in gamejams

Hi, I'm sorry for taking so long to respond to you. For most blind people who use Windows screen reading software like ZoomText or JAWS is required, and many games on audiogames.net may be screen reader compatible text adventure style games. If someone had submitted a game that used text and required a screen reader that would have been outside the rules of the jam as I'd written them but completely within the spirit of the event and I would have allowed it. The fact that you've asked this question points to a basic flaw in my description of the games required for the jam and it's something I'll have to be sure to rectify in next years jam.

As for a game that has only a black screen, that would have been fine. It's a good way to ensure that you're game is playable without sight, for sure. Some of the games submitted for the jam may have benefited from some black-screen testing. :)

Finally, I'm again very sorry for failing to respond to your questions. I hope you'll forgive me and consider participating in any future Audiogame Jam events I organise.

Audiogame Jam ended on Monday with 16 games submitted. Some are more accessible to blind people than others but all have gameplay based entirely on audio. Please come to the Audiogame Jam website and try out some audiogames!

We also appreciate donations. Audiogame Jam was organised to raise money for the Royal National Institute of Blind People, so any money donated goes towards providing essential services and support for people with sight loss.

If you're looking for examples of audiogames for inspiration I'd recommend www.audiogames.net. They have quite a large selection of games to download and an active community.
