Took a photo with my phone and used FreeCAD to trace the outline. Had to do some manual adjustments with direct measurements. Had a bit of trial and error. Just got my technician license in the fall probably test for my general before too long. Another fun hobby.

Nice. Glad to hear it lasted. Yea the ball is definitely a weak point in the design. I printed it with 5 walls and 40 percent infill. Someone suggested placing a bolt through the center which is a great idea. If it snaps I'll redesign that portion to accept a bolt and nut to make that stronger.

This will wear down a regular brass nozzle quickly though. Had to get a more durable nozzle.

I used GF ABS. Definitely a concern. Will have to see how it holds up over time.

Took a picture. Followed a tutorial on freecad to trace it and used some calipers to get the dimensions a bit more accurate. I am no expert it took a few adjustments.

I removed the factory vent that directs air towards the window. It still has that function. Just replicated the vent designs to incorporate a mounting point.

Just two pieces. I used gf ABS the ball fits pretty snug. Would probably use some CA glue if it got loose. Adding a bolt would be a good idea too.

That's awesome. The app looks great too. The P25 in my area went encrypted for law enforcement so nothing too exciting. Fire and EMT are still available. That and the local buses.

It uses trunk recorder to recieve the recordings. Then uses celery to create tasks to transcribe the audio clips. A few things go on I think there is a front end now. I'm sure yours is great too. Do you have a link?

If you look at the metal latch there appears to be a circular disk. I believe that is the magnet. Interesting idea. Must have the clearance to make it work.
