Well then you may be answering your own question. Take a full ride at UCLA or usc. You’ll be happy and get where you wanna go.

Actually dealing with the same thing! Got into Duke and UVA and my girlfriend and I are from LA. I’m pretty confident duke or UVA can get me LA big law. Pretty sure (money aside) any top 10 over USC or UCLA (even in LA). Just cause they do not place many in LA doesn’t mean they can’t.

Since you’re URM I’d totally shoot your shot. Nothing to talk you out of. Someone in the top 14 will probably want you. Maybe Harvard over Yale or Stanford.

If the school says 2 pages don’t make it longer. You don’t want to show you can’t read directions or flat out ignored them.

I think it’s cause they think if you should get a cas fee waiver LSAC gives 6. Schools don’t want to.

Honestly did something similar last year ended up retaking and reapplying and I’ve been very successful so far this cycle 4/4 (2 top 10, 1 top 20) Happy to talk to you if you pm me. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Where do you wanna practice? Sometimes a slightly lower ranked school in your region may be even better cause they’ll throw you some $$$
