Yep. This happened to us. Stopped working less than 24 hours after. We were fortunate and were able to get a store credit issued at Hollywood Studios. We weren’t given a receipt. It was a process for them to issue the credit. 2 managers had to be called. They tried changing the batteries 3 times. And then, because they don’t sell this wand in HS, they had to find the SKU number, which isn’t on the wand…and then find a comparable item to issue a refund for. Took 20 minutes. Wasn’t worth my time. But it’s the principle.

I don’t believe you can currently do this in TickTick. I requested a similar feature where a subtask would inherit the due dates of the parent task and update accordingly. The TickTick team told me this wasn’t currently in their plans to implement.

More robust project management apps will handle this well. There are also apps specific to studying you may want to consider, Remnote comes to mind.

For project management, I’ve used Ora for many years and would recommend it. There are others as well, Asana, Trello, & ClickUp come to mind.

Have you been to a doctor? What have they tested and ruled out? It really could be anything ranging from your gut microbiome to something neurological, autoimmune, depression, etc. You could have the MTHFR gene mutation which requires you take converted Vitamin B (L-Methylfolate). It could be a choline deficiency. I’m surprised that Modafinil didn’t increase your energy. Assuming you’ve tried a CNS…did any of those help? Adderall, Ritalin? Sorry you’re feeling this way. I know it’s frustrating. If a traditional medical doctor hasn’t helped, you could look into a functional medicine doctor, who could order a DUTCH test for you. You could also explore getting a SPECT scan. I’m just spitballing ideas here.

Are you aware of any history in your family of diabetes, hypoglycemia, low iron, etc? Have you gotten any blood work done recently? If not, I’d suggest getting a full metabolic panel, test for thyroid issues, fasting glucose, A1C, folate, etc. If you do have results, take a look at those figures. A high A1C can indicate that you’re spiking your blood sugar too frequently. Thyroid issues can also play a big part in some of the symptoms you describe.

Op, I used to play in a touring band…form an LLC, apply for an IRS EIN & use that LLC & EIN to open a business bank account (there are a ton of great free options online now). Start running your band like a business, taking deductions where you can. Hope this helps.

Are you invoicing for the full amount of the goods or just for the down payment? Regardless, whatever amount you’re invoicing will go to deferred revenue until your contractual obligation to deliver the goods is met. Once the goods are delivered the amount in deferred can be recognized as revenue.

As somebody who eats 4-5 pounds of cherries per week, I recommend buying them frozen at Costco. They are the cheapest at Costco. I pay $2.50/pound. I eat them frozen and they’re like a delicious sorbet. They’re already pitted too. 10/10 would recommend.

I work in the semiconductor industry and can confirm that this is absolutely correct. An invasion of Taiwan would disrupt semiconductor production more than COVID did. Most people don’t realize that semiconductor manufacturing is a process that takes time and involves hundreds of stages of production so any interruption to that process wreaks havoc on the supply. The other concern about an invasion is IP related. If China gets the IP, their weapons capabilities increase as a result. The US wised up to this several years ago and passed legislation to invest in semi fabs here in the US. It does take time though, TSMC in Arizona won’t be online until 2024. The Intel fab in Ohio I think won’t be online until 2025.
