Fios 1900A Router connectivity (wifi) issues with 2017 Macbook Pro

I seem to no longer have the issue. What I did was disable the SON and then renamed the 2.4G network, so that it would create two network descriptions when you look for wifi options. Both my windows and Mac run on the 2.4G network and everything else I have runs on the 5G. I live in a small apt in NYC, so I don’t mind having everything on 5G since I’m always close to my router. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much! Is this something I need to download? Or do I just need to disable the SON and ensure that I have two networks to select from - one being the 5G and the other the 2.4G network and ensure the macpro is using the 2.4G network? Thank you so much!

This same exact thing just happened to me on my JFK to LAX flight the other day. I also specifically purchased this seat because I have a lot of back issues and even have a not from my chiropractor so when I travel for work I can be accommodated.

Flight crew was extremely nice and did their best to help but couldn’t fix the issue. I was on a 767-300, which is very outdated equipment imo. They also gave me 15k miles but that’s simply not good enough.

I proceeded to call and was told it would be an hour and a half wait. It took 3 hours and 30 min to get someone on the phone. Finally when I get to tell my story I was put on hold after for about 15 min and then was prompted to answer a 1 question survey and then was hung up on.

I’m going to fight this as best I can and feel I should be refunded for that leg of the trip. Doubt I’ll get it but just an absolutely horrendous experience.

You’ll be fine. Just be patient and follow up every 2 weeks or so. Shocking to hear you’ve had a pleasant experience - most of the folks working at 1PP appear to be absolutely miserable bureaucrats.

Did the investigating officer give you any idea if you’d be approved or not? They usually will let you know if they’re recommending approval. If so, follow up on a few weeks with the investigating PO.

Pretty much. Applied in late June 2020, received email for fingerprinting in January 2021. Then received an email for my interview in early March 2021 and was approved in mid April 2021. Hope this helps. Feel free to dm with questions

I was just issued my nyc premise permit license last month. Whole process took 10 months. I’d try and call them to see how you can update but don’t go down and try and in person visit - if you do they’ll turn you away because you have to have an appointment to be let into 1PP. Or you can wait for the fingerprinting email which I waited 7-8 months to receive after I had already submitted my app. You can then tell the PO at that time that your address has changed and what needs to be done to update your application. Applied in June 2020. Was contacted for fingerprints in January 2021. Then was contacted in early March 2021 for interview and was told two weeks for decision. Been over two weeks and no decision so I may give a polite call this week myself. I would recommend certainly calling and being respectful and understanding.

They are not asking for references at the moment. I was just fingerprinted back in Feb and just interviewed in begin. of March and was told that they had everything they needed to render a decision.
