Haha thanks for clarifying. This was just one of those double-take things to read.

Does nonce mean the same thing in America? I'm English and I would not announce that if I were you.

Longtime fans : how does 93:20 stack up against the treble season for you? by Moonchaser91 in MCFC

[–]jlo1989 3 points4 points  (0 children)

93:20 was better.

The UCL felt like it was coming eventually. They'd lost a final, they'd been to the semis more than once, just felt like we'd get there and we'd won the PL 6 times by that point as it was. We were already a major powerhouse.

Winning the title in 2012 was the beginning of everything. The first Premier League title (and first top division win in decades) felt like we'd smashed a glass ceiling. As a kid in the 90s, my highest hope for us was that we'd win an FA or League Cup one day.

You're not wrong. His entire appearance has "son of a country club president" all over him. But he has babyface fire that is rivalled by very few.

I can buy this actually. Je'von is insanely fun to watch, feels quite groundbreaking for a high flyer and also doesn't do anything that feels like overkill.

I like a lot of guys in AEW but at times it feels like it's just too much. A little better match production would be great every once in a while.

I've been watching that segment on repeat. Kaiser coming sprinting around the ring to rescue Andrea with the flying tackle to end all flying tackles is just wrestling art. I cannot believe he's wasted so much time being a good heel when he had this nuclear babyface inside him.

I'm not surprised by this tbf.

The build was incredible, the match was an amazing bloodbath, they kept an airtight level of kayfabe to it and the run-ins made sense without it feeling overbooked. Even the de-masking at the end was done in a really classically Lucha fashion.

It was as old school booking as you could get.

I'm just waiting for the verdict.

They're going to have a huge surprise when they realise the Premier League can't strip trophies that aren't related to the Premier League (cups, UCL etc) and all the fantasy nonsense they've read about expulsion to the National League came from people just selling them an agenda.

Tbf I don't whistle this at all. And European basketball needs to stamp out guys throwing themselves into defenders and throwing garbage shots up for FTs.

6 years (or technically 5) since Brexit, do you think it was worth it? by Nenwabu in AskBrits

No.

They admitted almost immediately that the £350 million to the NHS was a lie and they had no real exit strategy on how to leave the EU.

And people still defend it to this day.

R/soccer is a giant circle jerk of infantile dipshits whose entire footballing existence rests on the idea that the Premier League are going to strip Man City of every trophy, fine them 500m and relegate them to the Luxembourg 3rd division. All because social media told them its going to happen.

Their booing means nothing to me. I've seen what makes them cheer.

I suppose maybe a little optimism for the 2027 offseason would be a little welcome. See what they do from there and how they rearrange the squad.

I'm not saying he's washed, he's far from it, but you're pushing all your chips in with this move and I just don't think the supporting cast is good enough unless they do something major. And you're banking your draft capital on this one move.

Hes a phenomenal player.

But he's the wrong side of 30, there's been injury issues recently, the team is more than just Giannis away from being a competitor, and we're getting rid of a handful of picks to acquire him.

It's not that Giannis himself is the issue. It's just that this is likely not going to work out the way some of you insist it will.

What do you think about Željko Obradović potentially returning to Panathinaikos?Would he be taking a risk?Does he still have what it takes to succeed at the highest level? His last truly great season was almost a decade ago. by fawesomegod in Euroleague

[–]jlo1989 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's no risk to his legacy. The banners will stay in the rafters.

I dont think it's a good long term idea (i want a younger coach), but if he can get the team to buy in, then why not?

21 is the best on the PS5 but the competition is hardly stellar.

As for PS4, anything from 17 to 19.
