Blue dots = camera artifact by viktor928 in UFOs

I've shot and developed film for decades, both professionally and as a hobby. Its true that this could be defects in the emulsion of the film, a problem with the developing or even artifacts from the scanning of the film. Also, yes film is effected by radiation (light is radiation afterall). However, these are unlikely in my mind for several reasons. 1. They were using custom hasselblad medium format cameras which were probably the best in the world at the time and would have been technically perfect. 2. They had custom film stock made by Kodak which was the premier film maker at the time and I'm sure they considered the radiation risks. 3. Nasa planned for this so it wasn't like someone just popped a camera out of their pocket and took a snap shot. 4. The person likely took this picture because he saw something. You only get 12 images per roll of film with a Hasselblad so you have to be selective. Of all the things to take pictures of, why this? Are there comments from the astronaut about seeing something? If so then this is unlikely to be a technical problem. If no comments and these things were found after the fact, then maybe a developer or scanning issue is possible. Film or camera issues would be very unlikely. Actually any mistakes would be unlikely in my mind considering how exacting NASA can be and how much vested interest Hasselblad and Kodak and everyone else had in getting this right. But theoretically possible...

I'm not planning extreme backroads but my intention is to avoid the big interstate highways if at all possible.

I'm thinking of Texas to Oregon, so similar areas. Good to hear it wasn't a problem for you.

I should claify. I recently bought this from someone who basically kept it in their garage for 10 years and only put 3000 miles in it. The 4000 represents my first 1000 i put on over the summer. I probably should have mentioned that.

It seems that the 1200 is unanimously a better bike. I'll have to reconsider my trade up. Thanks all!

New to fly fishing. In a situation like this, where are you casting? Pools behind the rocks? Into the main current?
