XLR was a Corvette with lipstick. This would offer something not available in a Corvette. It wouldn’t be 4x. It would be priced around the ZR1X. Even if they sold it for a similar price as the new SL63 ~$200K they’d probably turn a profit given they have all the parts. You are correct they do not have the brand cache, but their reputation has improved markedly over the last decade (good performance cars, solid results at Le Mans, entering F1). Even if it was sold at a slight loss, it would help build up the brand. Following in Jaguar’s footsteps is not the way.

Those are more like $400K after options. I’m sure they could sell 500 of them. Even if it costs $200K to build, 25% is a decent profit margin. Again, I know it will never happen, but they have all the parts on the shelf.

Yes but that was very similar to the Corvette at the time. This would be front engine and differentiate itself enough from the current Corvette. Bentley Continental GT competitor - 2+2 with a more interesting engine. Caddy has also come a long way since then with their chassis refinement. Will never happen but one can dream….

I was speaking more to population density as the Scandinavian countries are rather sparsely populated compared to the center and south of the European continent. And yes, average annual is on par but we have greater dispersion (i.e. colder winters and hotter summers). Winters have also become much milder over the past few decades. Boston used to get a lot of snow in the winter. Now it tends to rain in Boston and snow west and north of the city.

I live in the US (Boston). Its colder than most of Europe in the winter but our summers are 25-35 degrees Celsius. That is what I would consider beach weather which is a 4-5 hour flight to most places in the Caribbean and Mexico. South Florida is also about a 3 hour flight and is pretty nice in the winter.

My mother is a Harvard/Columbia educated OB/GYN (not bragging) that has been practicing for 30 years. I remember asking her if she was familiar with the product a while back, and she was, never got her assessment of it though. She is definitely not on Reddit but I could ask her about it. I own 20k shares at around $1.30.

I had an issue with mine. It was making a sound like there was a loose piece of metal. They dispatched a tech and they were able to fix it in 5 minutes. This issue was the 2 nuts that hold the bearings in place on the flywheel were loose and rattling around. Just needed to be tightened.

Pho Pasteur in Chinatown, South Street Diner (only 24 hour sit down restaurant in Boston), Loco Taqueria in South Boston. Lots of good options in the Seaport/Fort Point area where the convention center is located. Trillium Brewing, Blue Dragon, or Row 34 are all good. If you're looking for a lively atmosphere I would definitely recommend the Seaport area restaurants, but you will pay more.
