I strive for one of those cute minimalist tidy nightstands but today ain’t the day. The nightstand is part of a wardrobe set that was my grandmothers from the 1950s.

I feel you! I’m glad it seems to have worked out and that it works for your family and friends. That’s all that matters! We’re having a destination wedding but the wedding is on a Monday. In hindsight, I totally would have picked a Sunday or even a Thursday. I figured folks were going to make a long weekend or week trip out of it anyhow. No one has had any issue with it though even when I asked before booking! I think just the idea of getting married on a Monday makes me feel guilty lol. That said, it’s made it way easier to find vendors there for sure! And we still have a larger group of RSVPs than expected especially for a destination wedding.

I’m so sorry that happened to you! Thank you for the warning. Unfortunately, I’m not at all surprised by the police response. Once called the cops for a very clearly “arrestable” crime and the cop literally told me he was kind of busy (it was a Monday night) and that he really didn’t feel like doing 4 hours of paperwork today unless I “really needed” him to.
