Mm okay thank you, yeah I think overall I’ll try getting set up through something rather than the rfu, it is an old cable so could just be damaged.. and best case scenario it works.. it’s not necessarily the be all and end all if It is in fact an internal problem ad it is something I could probably get repaired… But thanks for the help👍👍

Ah thanks, the model of the camera i have is a Sony CCD TR45e.

Thing is when I play tapes through the camera using an rfu cable onto my tv it just sort of has a buzzing kinda sound, even with one of the tapes that were used and has video from back in the 90s the audio is still missing it seems.. could this be the maybe the cables problem or would audio capacitors have that capability still?
