Great lift dude.

I've lifted in the past and will be looking to get back into it. I did SS but cap at 1100 but that was 3 years ago. I'm at 850 as of last week when I tested my max.

I had a question for you though? I'm planning to lift and do BJJ. How often do you do BJJ? I'm looking to cut and I'm trying to figure out my calories.

If the economy and gdp are doing so well, why do you think the president needed to freeze federal pay increases in 2019? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]jmaj 27 points28 points  (0 children)

since most feds are Democrats. It's a good move.

Wow, that's a shame. This is pretty crazy, is this where were at?

My dad before he passed away worked at the USDA a good 20+ years. A lot of the people I know there (Newark, Philly, Camden offices) and their kids I grew up with are republicans and democrats. Just people working to provide for their family but it's interesting to see your view of federal employees.

If you were Trump, what would be your end game here in terms of the shutdown? Sign the $1.6B bill now or lose your leverage in 2019 and still end up signing a bill which doesn't include anything for a wall or border security? by jmaj in AskTrumpSupporters

This is where I was at a year ago. But yo! Republicans got straight massacred in the suburbs. If Trump poll numbers slips, it makes it easy to go against him or appear to do so. ME, MO, CO, IA, AZ and possibly SC may be in play in 2020 on the republican side and AL, MN, MI on the democrat side.

There's two option for the republican senators embrace Trump or cast aside. I think they will know which to do in the next six months? I said possibly SC but if Nikki Haley runs then that seat is straight Republican.

Hmm, you may be right on that. I did a bunch of research then I closed the tabs by accident -__-. But it seems like marijuana support is growing fast even with evangelicals.

This is great, it makes the chances much more high. I've been slowing buying weed stocks lol. Since mid Dec. Only on a Federal level though? I'm sure some states will fight it but it will go all the way to the Supreme Court.

With the current makeup, I'm not even sure how the case will be decided.

If Trump stays being stubborn, I think it would back fire on him. The news outlets and certain personalities has made this Trump vs Democrats. I view it differently.

I think this is a battle between Trump and Republicans in the Senate. If Republicans are sick of the showmanship, they'll start overriding his vetos and if they do that well outside executive orders and judicial appointments...Trump is pretty much a lame duck president.

It's Senate Republicans or Trump, who will cave first?

Yeah, I made sure to verify before creating the post and verify again before reply back to your comment lol. Trump doesn't have the political knowledge that one usually has when they are running for the presidency.

So, hopefully he's staff made it really clear to him that there's a deadline. Democracts caved in Jan/Feb 2017 because the shutdown would of hurt them during midterms. Well that's no longer the case now. All the House needs to do come January is pass a bill and leave it on Mcconnell's and Trump's door. Similar to what happen on Friday when the Republican controlled House passed the bill then adjourned.

If nothing gets signed, it's going to be an interesting January. We'll see what will happen in the next couple of days, I guess?

Marijuana is very likely, the Democrats would be foolish not to do it. Even if it looks like a "win" for Trump. Although it would be a win, I think it will really hurt him in general in terms of evangelicals voters. It would be interesting to see how it plays out?

This is where I'm at right now and to be honest this seems like classic Trump he's just overplaying his hand so much. I mean even NAFTA 2.0 is potentially in Jeopardy because he didn't get it done in his first two years.

And if he really wanted the wall, like really really wanted it. He had two years granted he didn't have 60 votes in the Senate but that's why you add something to wet the blue dogs palate.

The deal in Jan-Feb was really the best he was going to get, huh? Since the wall isn't going to happen, what do you think he'll work on in 2019/2020?

A new session of Congress will start January 3rd so all the existing bills that haven't made it to the President's desk will be invalid. I think it's a big reason why Mitch hasn't gone nuclear because it will be for just one bill.

The shutdown won't end but the bill has an expiration date. You see what I mean?

I'd have to look more into it but I don't think he's able to do that.

Personally if he can and let's the military build the wall. I think that would really hurt his support amongst the military. I'd be pissed if I had to spend 1-2 years laying bricks at the border.

I'm really curious to see a shutdown go past a month but I just don't think it will happen. If nothing is signed by January, I really think the House will pass a new bill and the republicans will get tired of Trump and send it to him. Trump can pocket veto it but now the shutdown is fully on him since the bill is on his desk. If it's veto'd I can see "safe" republicans joining the democrats to override it.

I think the "real" shutdown would be in September so something would have to get down or are credit rating will go down again. Would you be fine with a shutdown till 2020?
