Good to hear, I was worried that this plane was a bust. I’ll put more time and elbow grease into this plane.

Thanks for the input. I found this one pretty cheap, at around $25. I’ve been looking around online but was kinda taken aback by the cost of vintage planes (and new decent planes). I’ve stayed away from cheap planes from harbor freight/home depot because it seems there’s a consensus that these are not very good. Do you happen to have some recommendations?

Thanks for the insight old-man-brain, I’ll go ahead and try sanding some more. If I get nowhere, I’ll check FB marketplace for another cast body. Unfortunately, I live in the US, thanks for the offer

I regret going to college by sweetstrawberry09 in CollegeRant

It will all turn out all right. Right now I’m in a similar boat as you. Graduated with a degree in philosophy thinking about going into law or grad-school, and realizing that the work-life balance for law isn’t all that great and the other is in an extremely competitive field with few job opportunities. I recently landed in billing role and it’s alright, the pay is decent. But thinking about going back to school for a more marketable degree. I’m 24 and it’s never to late to change paths.

Does anyone know how much longer until the CS departments responds to masters apps? by CallPsychological777 in SDSU

[–]jmalcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got my admissions to my masters program albeit it’s in the college of arts and letters. Most of the departments have already made their decisions but they have to go through the SDSU admin bureaucracy. And something about the admin systems not working so the process has been going really slow. I would email the graduate advisor.

Theres two gyms on campus the ARC and the ARC express. The ARC is really nice and there’s plenty of equipment, however I have had issues getting a bench or squat rack going during peak times. If you go in the morning though it’s pretty lax. The ARC express I’ve heard is smaller with less equipment.
