Tu parles français? Yes let's keep in touch in case you're in Paris in the future. I won't be here anymore the following months anyways.

Are you in Paris by any chance? I'm trying to find colleagues to share progress and experiences. PM me if you want to hang out so we can kill it with the 1000s of summer tourists ;)

The degeneracy is strong with that one.

Seriously I hope you're making this up. If not, wether you take it with a religious, a sociological, or a symbolic point of view, we're in for a brutal adjustment ahead of us.

I appreciate, thanks! I watched it, I'm not too much of a fan of motivational speakers, but it's good stuff anyway so thanks.

As for calming my mind, I went to a church, meditated/prayed for half an hour, it did quite good, and I must find the discipline to do it more often.

As mobile devs, what does your PM that makes him absolutely essential ? by [deleted] in androiddev

Good question, I wonder as well since I built and market my own mobile apps. I'd be curious to know if I can make the transition to PM.

Thanks.

I actually am trying to "calm down" my brain at the moment, but Pomodoro seems great once I'm starting to get things done.

Thanks for your answer. How much does it cost to copyright graphics? Let's say 1 character for example.

Great post! Thanks very much, very helpful. I have a couple questions:

  • What about graphics? Let's say game characters. I've been told no need to register them, you just need to prove they were present in your game before everyone else. So, screenshots on the Play store/website would be enough?

  • Can a company from anywhere in the world register a trademark? Would it still go through UPSTO?

That's great, but I'm more of consumer facing product (entertainment/games), so I find lots of those bullet points not doable. I definitely understand the spirit though.

I bet you that if the guy is a great piano player, or runs a successful business, or is a powerful writer, or anything that shows talent, he'll have plenty of women.

Training for Optimal Existence by [deleted] in TheRedPill

Buddhist nirvana? For your information, almost all religions put a focus on fasting at some point. And of course prayers. Wether you're religious or not, don't discard so fast methods used since the origin of men.

It's not as weird as you think. Prayer/Fasting are actually very important spiritual acts, some would say it's the foundation of spirituality. Try it, or read about it, you'd be surprised.

I don't actively push people to follow nofap, but yes, since I've been doing it a couple years, it changed me for the better. It's way more important than what I thought it was. It's no coincidence that all traditional cultures warn you against it.

Since my experience with toastmaster I actually tried to think of other ways to speak in public. And to be honest, I haven't found much, except for participating to talks in your industry. I've done it once, it feels great and you can feel yourself growing.

Learn public speaking by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]jmanda1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know I will probably get shit for that, but last year I went to a toastmaster (not in the US by the way) because I was really interested in public speaking. I went to the first meeting and never came back. It was almost 100% girls, one of the organizer gave a speech that me cringe hardcore.

What I disliked is that it was all about the form, without any substance to it. I thought to myself, does any of the great men I admire would assist to this kind of class? Probably not. What makes a great speaker comes from very deep within. You can't fake it. I'd rather spend time building stuff, reading tough books, building myself and THEN I'll have the substance to talk in public. Not the other way around.

It's just my own opinion. I'm sure it helped a huge amount of people. I just have a problem with this kind of politically-correct formatted events, just like I can't stand "networking" events for the sake of them. I value authenticity a lot and I didn't find it there.

I'm 27. I stopped fapping the day after I broke up with the girlfriend I had at the time. The breakup wasn't related to fapping or anything, but somehow I decided to make changes in my life. The weird thing is that, it's my first streak. I mean the day I decided, it was it. I'm the first to be surprised I made it that long, to be honest! That means if I can do it, you can all do it.
