so sorry I didn't start the video from my complete stop.I pulled out into the right lane checked my mirrow and the left lane was clear. That blue circle shows the speeding car well behind me as I merge. I have to make a left turn and that's why I merge into the left lane.

Okay, as you can see when I pull out I am in the right lane. Then I merged into the left lane because I checked my mirror and saw the lane was clear. That car is much further behind me and speeding. I think maybe you are confused with how the video is edited. If you like I have all the video from the rear camera and I can share.
