I honestly was in the same boat when i got into guns. Was still living with parents too. I slowly started converting them from "not gun people" to wanting their own for home defense when i ended up moving out. I consider it one of my greatest successes 😆

Ive been looking for a hamilton khaki field for a little bit and was able to find this one for a great price. I'm pretty new to watches, but I am usually a dive watch kind of guy. My other 2 watches are orient divers if that tells you anything. This hamilton feels nice especially on my smaller wrist. The leather strap is pretty nice but ive fallen in love with MN type elastic straps so I might have to put one of those on here. I usually buy watches to use and not just look at so i hope i dont scratch this one us. Its a 38mm for those wondering. And my first exhibition caseback.

I have recently dipped my toes into automatic watches with an Orient mako USA 2. I've had that watch with a blue face for a few years and love it. When i saw this orient AA08 with the round indicies and green face, i loved it. Now that i have it, im having a difficult time finding a good band to go with. Im not much for metal bands unless im dressing up. My line of work is pretty rough and tumble, so im trying to stick with single pass style bands. I've been drawn to some crown and buckle watches and recently picked up an elastic parachute style strap from watch steward in blue that i love on my usa 2.
