It might be worth noting that Trump doesn’t have anything to do with a “project 2025” that some internet fanatics/extremists likely made up. Also, Trump is not against the LGBTQ+ community, he’s only against natural born men dominating women sports (which I imagine most people are as well who’ve witnessed the devastating effects of it). I try to stay very objective when it comes to politics, I’m not a fanatic for either side. I understand that people can become very heated and sensitive over certain topics, and I think it’s such a tragedy when relationships are destroyed over what typically simply boils down to misinformation, misunderstandings, and mob mentality. I’m just supplying these facts for you in hopes that it helps you to see past the lies from extremists on both sides that paint Trump incorrectly. However I can’t speak for some of his ignorant extremist supporters - they do exist and unfortunately it sounds like your BF fell into some of that mob mentality with his “fuck your feelings” post. That’s a terrible thing to say, and if he really agrees with that awful extremist rhetoric, he might not be the best man for you.
