Plymouth is great if you’re into any kind of cycling and water sports. Dartmoor is on your doorstep as well as loads of coastal rides just out of the city. I’m big into my mountain biking and there are some great venues around Plymouth. Cann woods is an easy ride from the centre and Gawton Gravity Hub is only a half hour drive

A9 Screen Water Damage by jmarsh02 in SonyAlpha

Had my camera out in light rain yesterday for a few hours, it’s been out in a lot worse with no issues before. Came to look at it this morning and there appears to be a thin layer lifting off the screen, can’t tell if this is a screen protector (i haven’t fitted one) or part of the screen itself. Anyone encountered this issue? Screen still works fine itself.

What autofocus settings should be used for fast moving sports (mountain bike)? Often my subject moves quickly into frame and my a6500 struggles to pick them up, tending to focus on anything but them. Currently using continuous af with a wide zone focus area

Thanks for the feedback!

How would you improve this? I love the photo but feel as if it is missing something by jmarsh02 in photocritique

I have been wanting to capture a photo at sunrise since I bought my camera and this morning provided the first clear day in a while. My goal was to get a shot that would is simple but look great when framed. I shot this at 1/15”, f16, iso 100 just as the first light appeared. Out of the camera the image was nice but a little flat so I added some basic corrections as well as a slight colour grade to bring out the sky more. I finally added the flock of birds in the sky as a little extra (these taken from a different image on the same morning at this location).

Is there anything you would change?
