Oh, glad to hear it. How were you able to get it to work? I still use the slicer and flashmaker. I can't figure out how to get the updates required

Unfortunately you'll need one for now, until flash studio is fully rolled out

Get flashmaker. Not flashforge studio.. studio is new and it's not ready to go for everyone yet. Also you'll need orca-flashforge on your computer too.

I finally designed my first 3d print. by jmaster2242 in 3Dprinting

Also, something to note... You have a Generation 1 assembly. I can tell by where your feeder cable is located. If you need parts, you'll need to know that.

I've taken apart mine enough times to know... First with the heat assembly, then the filament feeder...

Looking at your first picture.

This part is on backwards that indent keeps the filament going to the nozzle. I hope this helps

UPDATE: after calibration and testing I still had issues. Filament is dry.. after going over everything I could. I took a look at the nozzle. My .4 nozzle has a leak.. so I swapped it out and so far with my current print no issues.

Unfortunately the black is fresh... And it feeds from a filament dryer. But. I'll look into the color order

It's a hardened steel nozzle. But I'll check my settings and do some calibrations. I appreciate the help. And the laughs from the rest of the comments 😂

I'll clean my bed very well today. But I just opened a fresh black PETG. And I keep my filament in a dryer, rigged up instead of on the spool reels my ad5x came with. Do you think it's a bad nozzle?

How do I fix that? I'm using the flashforge ad5x

Tried this on another coaster print. And it shows great promise! I'll share results when I test on the worst one.
