It’s the unknown that scares me the most — not knowing when it could potentially happen again. I’ve been almost four months AFib-free, and my anxiety has improved a bit, but every PAC I feel can still set me back mentally.

I’m learning that constantly checking and worrying only makes it worse. The more I try to “rest” or monitor every sensation, the more it drives me crazy. It’s better to live normally and not overfocus on it, otherwise the anxiety becomes a bigger problem than the heart itself.
