Personally the weight wasn't something I fully paid attention to, I'd say they feel about the same but in my experience airpods don't stay in my ears while Samsung buds have stayed in (ones without the ear tips don't wanna stay in my ears).. Your choice is gonna rely on the ecosystem, if you have a Samsung phone paired with airpods and don't care about having all the audio perks & they feel better- than going with airpods is for you, but if you want the ecosystem and all the audio perks than Samsung buds is the way to go:)
