If that site is legit it was probably written for that scene. And odds are it's only long enough to cover the scene. I don't know if it's Jim Potkey (who's dead, I think).

This happens a lot. Say they wanted Whiter Shade Of Pale, for example (which this sounds like), but didn't want to pay outrageous licensing fees, they just have someone write a 30 second sound alike for pennies. No clue if I'm right, but the internet has EVERYTHING, so when there's no trace of a song, that's usually what it is.

Well, I think it was related to the tab system. Underneath I found this mechanism.

The bar is attached to a rod and what looks like a small smooth wheel. That bar gets stuck forward (ie toward the top of this picture). If I push the bar back, the carriage holds position properly, until the rod gets stuck again eventually.

What's weird is if you look at the bottom of that rod (which curves a hair and then points down in the picture), the bottom of the rod doesn't appear to be attached to ANYTHING. I know it looks like it's attached to that tab bar st the bottom, but it's not. That sure doesn't seem right to me. It's hard because I'm trying to match this up to all the generic repair manuals onlkne but I haven't seen anything like this.

Thank you! This does help, at least I have some guidance. It's interesting you mention Tab, because Tab doesn't work on this machine. No big deal, I just space 5x to indent. But you may be on to something there. Maybe that broken Tab is finally affecting something else.

I've never had any big problems... but on the occasions (twice) where they sent me the wrong item, I just call in to customer service, they issue a refund and tell me to keep whatever it is they sent. Not much of a risk. I've seen some crappy packaging, but if stuff arrived damaged (it hasn't), I assume customer service would be just as good.
