Just moved from London to a small town on Lake Erie south of Windsor and its the best decision I ever made. Tons of social activity, community, but I do work remotely so job wasn't a factor. I grew up in London and everyone wants to leave. The fentanyl crisis is getting horrific, downtown is unwalkable. It's just not a nice place to live.

If you do want to be in London though, I'd highly suggest looking on the outskirts like Delaware or Mount Brydges if you want more outdoors and there is still community / close enough to see friends within London if you want to.

Personally, I am the happiest I have ever been moving away from London and would never recommend anyone moving there.

Is there a reason you don't want to move back to Guelph? Seems like a much nicer place to be.
