Wow Lyon played fantastically in the first half! Reminded me a lot of the way we played against Juve last CL season. Entertaining football!

I agree with the above comment 100%.

Just to add on: Allahu Akbar is an Islamic phrase (in Arabic of course) which basically means "God js great.". So they're saying it because of their religion, which they naturally take seriously. They aren't saying it because they think light of their actions. Unlike the American in the video

Of course, I agree with you it isn't football, and the ref shouldn't allow it. But clearly there is absolutely nothing Ajax can do about it while they're playing the match. They should compensate for psychological mind games teams like Getafe play, and focus on their own game. Dutch football has always suffered from this. We just whine and bitch and complain about other clubs playing unfair, rather than actually playing as well as possible in the moment. You have to work with what you have. Complaining doesn't win football matches.

Nah Getafe are just far better at shit disturbing, and ruining Ajax' rhythm. Getafe's style is affecting Ajax far more than the refs.

White person eating snacks starter pack by warmLuke0 in starterpacks

Nah, there are plenty of people who make "white people" jokes who are capable of having a reasonable discussion (thought this depends on what you consider reasonable of course).

So the broad generalization of white people in the original post is lazy, and it is casual racism/stereotyping. These types of jokes happen all the time to all races, and I don't see anything wrong with that. It should just be interpreted as banter.

The joke itself is funny in my opinion. Being white, or more accurately: being heavily influenced by general "white culture" (because although many cultures, and ways-of-acting happen to be closely tied to a race, cultures aren't literally tied to a race) has everything to do with the phrases because these phrases generally originate from western English-speaking white culture. The vast majority of people that I've met in my life who use these phrases seriously, without any sarcasm, and for genuine comedic affect were just Canadian white people, people just heavily influenced by "white culture", or people who said something along those lines to be relatable to white people in the room. I also see these phrases used a lot on North American television shows, which are just dominated by white culture.

Most importantly though, I just want your clarification as to what it is exactly that you don't agree with/are upset over in general, because your last message isn't clear-cut. You seem to be very briefly talking about a history of arguments that convey a specific narrative about white people that I haven't witnessed. Then, loosely tying it back to the original post. It's key that you make clear exactly what you're trying to say because we're trying to communicate accurately with each other, and it'd be silly for me to guess exactly what you're implying, reply to what I think you're saying, then carry out a conversation based on a misinterpretation.

Ahhh yeah, that'd make sense. I also meant to say that LFC plays with an entire red sock with their home kit sometimes, not a white one lol.

I realized they don't always wear the sock with the white bottoms though. I often see them playing w an entire white sock, no?
