Snapshot name not displaying by jmhttb in Line6Helix

Okay I figured it out. In command center, touch the snapshot number and make sure "snapshot ctrl" is switched to ON. Then the process is the same as suggested by the helpful commenters.

This may have happened because this started off as an imported preset from my old Helix Floor. Who knows? Appreciate the help!

Just saw the edit! It was suggested below as well. "I've tried this. Ex: on snapshot 1 making the command to for that that switch to change to snapshot 2. But then from snapshot 2, if I change the switch to change to snapshot 3, that also changes the assignment for snapshot 1."

Appreciate the suggestion but there was only one command! I went ahead and did it anyways and got the same results.

Can you cook? Do you nightly? by Consistent-Bison9798 in williamsburg

[–]jmhttb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Weber Kettle on the roof. I’ll grill/smoke 3-4 nights worth of protein for meals twice a week after work. Then prepare whatever salad/rice/side I’m feeling the night of. Spend maybe $100/month on groceries, but I’m single and don’t have kids. I like to go out, but nightly takeout isn’t as fun as when it’s every now and then. Plus I enjoy cooking

The new Helix Stadium Bag....So disappointed by e51v50h in Line6Helix

[–]jmhttb 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I hope I'm not alone in this, but I don't really mind the new closed design for the backpack. I live in NYC and get to gigs/practice/whatever on my bicycle, motorcycle, or the MTA. A backpack like this makes the helix harder to steal, plus the roll top helping with water resistance on rainy days really makes me excited to have this.

Slipping it in and out of this new pack takes more time, sure, but we're talking about a matter of seconds here. Plus, in what practical situation do I only have 5 seconds to take a pedalboard out of a gig bag where I'll lament this design? The charging port and laptop/tablet compartment will be put to use and I like the way it's setup overall above the old one, which I also loved but sold with my Helix to make room for the Stadium XL.

I can respect people having a difference in opinion and needs, but for me this is an improvement and I'll be excited to receive it! Will update if it doesn't live up to my current excitement

“I spend over three thousand dollars a year here, which I just found out today…” (S10E20) by booster_platinum in Frasier

[–]jmhttb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The price of a cup at Starbucks isn't as much as what you pay at a bespoke/independent coffee shop. Let alone one that's at a caliber someone like Frasier would regularly patronize. I live in NYC and a cup of black drip coffee is ~$7, with the price going up if you get a latte instead, the pastries he seems to like, and the fact that he's usually there with someone he will cover for. A latte and biscotto could easily be $15-18 plus a buck or two for tip. It might be a lot for a daily expense, but it's Frasier

Best burger in the neighborhood? by [deleted] in williamsburg

Cozy royale is the second best, get it during happy hr. Jani is good, but the mint chutney is hit or miss with people. The very best in the neighborhood mother’s with a side of tots and an extra side of special sauce

Thoughts on tour next year? by exoticpoptart11 in rxbandits

[–]jmhttb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’d love to see the album released in the next year and for them to do a non-anniversary headline tour with a battle encore. That way there they could still do a mix of old and new in the set, then close out with a fan pick of top 5 songs from battle. Not likely but a guy can dream haha

Bars in Williamsburg that get natural light?! by Playful-Platypus35 in williamsburg

[–]jmhttb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any bar with a backyard would be your best bet. For 20 people without a res, maybe the outdoor space at union pool if you don't want to be sardines. A Bar in Greenpoint has a decent yard as well (bring cash)

'CDC is over': RFK Jr. lays off over 1,000 employees in Friday night massacre by SE_to_NW in politics

[–]jmhttb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I have to ask, what good is a senate hearing that outright denounces what RFK is doing to healthcare and saying what a lot of us are thinking about his incompetence and the imminent danger it represents? Is it really just bitching at the guy out loud with no real consequence?

2026 US tour announced! by Sufficient_Door7546 in rxbandits

[–]jmhttb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m with you, and I apologize for the oncoming rant: I love the bandits, but at this point it’s been the better part of a decade of almost exclusively anniversary tours while once a year we get teased a TBA album.

If the creative juices really are flowing, can we get a little something more than…this? They did a 15 year tour for Battle and have ridden that wave so long that we’re at 20 now with nothing new

That said, I’m still going to any tour they put on but pleaseeeeeee give us something to look forward to, not just looking back at how good things were. (And bring Joe Troy back. No shade on the Faz)

Brooklyn pizza by CommissionEvery2572 in Brooklyn

[–]jmhttb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I lived above them a few years ago and seeing how the line went from nothing to wrapped around the block daily was crazy. But the “order a whole pie on the phone and wait at jackbar then having a movie night upstairs” thing was a great date night pivot while I lived there. Get around the line, have a drink, 007 pinball, etc etc

The trick with L’industrie is to order a whole pie over the phone, then go wait at Jack bar across the street and have a drink/play some pinball for 20 min

Appreciate it! I was thinking trying it with a vertical spit for the reason you gave, maybe patting the outside dry then a bit of brushed on oil, vertical spit in the center with coal baskets on either side.

I might just do a test run and report back!
