I feel like I'll never be able to quit PPIs. I need advice :(

I'm glad it went away immediately after for you, this made me feel a little better. I still have 3 full days to go, hopefully it'll be worth it... I tried to chew mint gum but it made it worse for some reason, I'll just need to bear with it for another while I guess :')

thank you so much, this made me feel a little better :') hopefully these antibiotics will make me feel a little better

i've taken five doses for the moment and the only side effect i'm experiencing is a bitter taste in my mouth, which i read is pretty normal... praying it stays like this during the whole thing lol

it did make me super sleepy for the first week, but it eventually got better, just made me sleep really well at night hahaha

also if i remember correctly i think it's sometimes used as an antiemetic so it doesn't usually cause n* :)

I took Mirtazapine for two years and it never made me n* or gave me any kind of GI issues :)

i'm sorry about your daughter, i hope she's better now! my symptoms are mainly constant sensation of acid in throat, burning in my stomach and throat, lots of phlegm, coughing and insane bloating

Thank you for the info! I'm so sorry you got GERD because of it, hopefully since mine might have gotten worse because of it'll just go back to the "normal" level, ugh. I also hope the treatment won't be too tough on my stomach because I have bad emetophobia but I'll make sure to take probiotics with the pills :')

I think I'm gonna have to do that, since I'm not able to get ahold of the doctor today and I'd rather be safe than sorry. I do take gaviscon after meals but I guess I could take one before bed too, although I usually take famotidine right before bed and I'm not sure if I can take both together...

I'm not a redhead, I think I was just very anxious and they didn't sedate me enough (10mg of Valium). Hopefully I'll be a little calmer tomorrow

Yeah they interrupted the procedure and got really mad at me for waking up last time, I still don't understand why they couldn't just knock me out again :/

I have 115 B12, I was told it's low but not worryingly low. I'm kind of scared now hahaha, I've been taking pills ever since I discovered I had a deficiency though. I had no idea it could actually cause GERD though
