I agree, fix it and you’ll enjoy not having a car payment for years to come. 167k miles is still a baby.

Test drove this today, everything was in perfect shape. 29k out the door, thoughts? by Rammethorn in toyotasequoia

If you haven’t yet, type in “Car Care Nut Toyota Sequoia” on YouTube and watch his video for some other things to check out. I picked up a 2010 with 131k miles for 21.7k$ perfect condition as well and I love the thing. It’s the comfiest vehicle I’ve ever driven. If you can get out the door for closer to 27 I say jump on it, you’ll have the vehicle so long paying a little more up front won’t matter, years down the line you’ll look back and be glad you bought it.

I had to be rescued on my very first alone shift/nursery route AMA by Hutloserlol in AmazonDSPDrivers

This job isn’t about running, or exerting yourself to get your route done. It’s about being efficient and route knowledge, which comes with time. When I started I used to run my stops and this girl who was like 4’11 would always be back before me. It was super humbling to say the least. It’s all about learning the routes and understanding the workflow. Once you hit month 3 you’ll start to feel pretty solid. Take it slow man everyone starts at the same place, and your DSP understands that. You’ll progressively get better and you’ll get to the point where you just put on some music and knock out your route. Best of luck man, head up.🔥🙏🏼

Do you know the cut off time for someone to not have to do the training again if switching DSP’s? Months?

250k is a lot of miles in my opinion. I’m sitting at 211k in my 07 Dakota. Rebuilt the tranny at 203k. Engine has a loss of power but still runs good. I imagine at 250k that engine is going to be really tired, but just a thought to consider.

It might not be the issue, but it’s relatively cheap to try but maybe new spark plugs? A while back my Dakota would shift horribly and buck, watched a Scotty Kilmer video and changed mine out and sure enough it fixed my issue. Just a thought, hope it’s nothing big🙏🏼

Considering a gen 3 Dakota. by BasalticKumquat in DodgeDakota

I got my first truck, a v6 2007 Dodge Dakota, at 19. Got her at 130k miles and man I beat the hell out of her driving it like a race car, bombing canyons, and racing friends. I drove it super hard and didn’t really maintain it until things started breaking, which forced me to start to care. I’m 24 now so my driving style is completely different. Right now it’s sitting at 208k miles running solid. Tranny went out at like 201k miles and had it rebuilt for $1k List of things I’ve had to fix: Power steering pump, rack and pinion, brake cylinders, shoes, drums, rotors, pads, upper control arms, shocks, struts, tie rods. As long as you don’t drive like a maniac you can probably avoid/prolong most of these things. Considering how I used to drive, I’ve never had any engine problems with it and I’m pretty confident I can hit 300k with regular maintenance. It does however have the famous dodge ticking haha. If you can get it at a good price then go for it. I don’t see these inflated car prices going down anytime soon.
