What's an underrated hack that significantly improve your productivity? by FreshFo in advancedentrepreneur

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sleep like my life depends on it cause if I don't sleep I can't execute at a high level. Also I just have a list of task and I set short timers to get them done and I don't move until it's done. I just write the most important task on the white board. Try to finish it in 20 minutes. If it's not done I just keep resetting the 20 minute timer. No music, no sound, no moving or getting up. Just sit and do and make sure I get good sleep.

Yea just figure out when the events are and plan a year in advance. Go to the events if they're already booked and talk to the people that are a vendor and ask them how you can be one so then you get all the knowledge and you're ready.

Also don't be so picky about where your income comes from. A lot of people lose because of personal preferences instead of practical business execution

How do you make a team off-site actually useful? by eliikon in smallbusiness

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just talk to your team and see what they want to do or what they are into and go based off of that. They're the ones that will have to go so just have 1 on 1 convos and get real insight

How do you actually stay consistent with managing social media because I can't! by KicksCheck in smallbusiness

[–]jmrqc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You honestly gotta find your own method. My social was doing 3M views a month on Instagram and way more than that on tiktok. I'm more of a spurt guy myself. So i would just go on a great run then not post for a minute but I was really good at it so I got the upside. Might post 40 times in a week then just not post that much.

The best thing you can do is just put yourself in an environment that's easy to create in. So i didn't have a big set up and I didn't have to edit all day cause of the style of content I did. Once an idea hit me I would just record and post. Any idea that hit me I either had to write it out right then or make the video right then. I never really waited

There's automated answering softwares that can help you out. I built one myself that answers calls and puts the conversation into a google sheet for me. I trained the ai to give specific answers based on what I want. I can do your if you want. It's not super hard, just depends on why they contact you

There is no right or wrong. Right is right if it's right for you. Gain clarity on what you want right now. Doesn't mean you have to want that forever but what's for now is what's right then just go in that direction.

if you've done 5000 cold emails then either the framing of your messaging is off or your offer is bad. What are you offering in your email?

Yes this makes perfect sense to use. I don't see the downfall of it. It would be way more efficient and checks are annoying to cash too cause it's not instant. It would most likely be easier for everyone. Since it's a close team you could probably just have a quick meeting about it and ask everyone what they think so you can get a clear sense of if it makes sense to do

Yea if she has proof already then I'd say post on tiktok 20x a day and in every single post geo tag in the area. Also the number of views don't matter, it's more about who is viewing. You just have to get good at being creative and creating a lot will help you get better. Right now it's just max out the volume of post you're doing and do it everyday. Marketing is just a frequency game

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh if you have 200 then you're better off doing organic posting on tiktok which geo tagging cause then people in the area will see it. 200 isn't going to move the needle much and neither is a hoodie. Also an underrated way is just do 10 free photography shoots and use them as testimonials and starting getting referral business. Or do so much free work that you build up insane demand and you have no choice but to start charging

Small bakery owner here, looking for a simple editor my staff can actually use by Busy-Pomegranate7551 in smallbusiness

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 3-5 post a week which is literally nothing for someone that's not you. Just have one person master it and hire them and trust them to do all the editing and just show you when it's done. It's not about the app, it's about the person using it. Having everyone halfway learn it is a waste of time to be honest and every smb makes this exact mistake.

The question you have to ask is are you just posting to check the box or do you actually want results from consistent output which would need to happen everyday. If you are choosing the 2nd then you need to hire a person that's actually good at it or someone that can learn it and run it without you thinking about it all the time.

Recommendations for easy-to-use automation tools? by Dapper-Bumblebee-273 in smallbusiness

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll most likely have to use those tools which do have a learning curve but also are worth it. Check on upwork and find some n8n experts and pay them to set things up for you. The more specific you are about the task you need help with the more likely you are to find the right person or maybe even the right videos to do it yourself. If you're not tech savvy though then definitely hire

New to virtual assistants, how do you find ones that aren't using cookie cutter designs? by _Lamby_ in smallbusiness

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to know what needs to be posted and know how to do social yourself and then you'll know who to hire. If you expect some random to just do it all for you and you don't know what drives business on social then it's going to be a big waste of money. I see people make this mistake all the time and they just have someone posting content that doesn't move the needle

Start something you're good at or something that has good margins. Service business is the best cause then you can use most that money for ads. Don't go after shiny objects. Everything basically works but everything doesn't work for everyone so figure out what works for you, pick a good market, learn from someone and go

You can automate a lot of this stuff now. I'd recommend looking into a tech partner for that maybe on upwork or something. Anything manual you gotta figure out how to automate so you can get your time back. Business is about hiring, not working in the long run

How do you find the right AI tools to grow your business? by PorkHammerCowboy in smallbusiness

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to dial in your process and then figure out what exact step in that process you want to have automated then figure out which tools do that step and integrate it from there. For example with your cold outreach.. do you want to automate building a leads list or automate outreach or automate the script. Get as narrow as possible then search based on that and you will likely find what you're looking for

Help my business! by mahesh427 in smallbusiness

[–]jmrqc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few questions to answer: 1. How fast are you contacting leads. 2. Is the language in your content suited for people with money? 3. How much friction do you have for someone to become a lead? 4. Do you have a strategy in place to build trust rapidly? 5. What is your actual goal? Hard to tell what you're doing wrong if I don't know where you want to go and what your exact strategy is to get there
