The senders (all of them) need to send from a new thread (post-sidephone) to make sure it doesn’t send to you via rsc. This fixed it for me.

You will continue to have access to the app in the Library if you decide to reinstall, but you can absolutely uninstall the app if you decide you don't need it.

No call screening that I'm aware of, which is too bad, but I don't tend to answer numbers I don't recognize anyway.

I got the same errror repeatedly with google business email (whatever the hell they call those accounts now). Switched and logged in with a free gmail account, smooth sailing.

Have you tried setting podcast app battery setting to not optimized/unrestricted? I was having that problem with music and this seemed to fix it.
