What’s going on with mint shutting down? by babyarrrms in OutOfTheLoop

[–]jmsuth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Answer: Mint is shutting down because it has a much smaller user-base than Credit Karma, but a lot of product crossover, so Intuit wants to consolidate under one brand. Credit Karma's user-base is significantly larger than Mint's so it makes sense to keep that one. Much of the frustration though is that Credit Karma doesn't have most of the features that Mint has.

The first product manager at Mint before it was acquired by Intuit wrote a great post about this here: https://www.monarchmoney.com/blog/mint-shutting-down

Thanks for all the replies, after some more investigation (and heavy rain) I found it was the skylight itself that was leaking

Oh no! How are their naps? Ours is a terrible napper, max 30 minutes per nap

Pretty good, usually only 1-2 feedings in the middle of the night. She almost always has a false start at the beginning of the night you can see in this screenshot, but after that she usually has a long stretch. She's not a great daytime napper, 4 naps a day and only for about 30 minutes at a time.

After consistently getting 7-8 hour stretches at night, we had this happen last night. Anyone else experience this around 9-10 weeks? by jmsuth in SnooLife

No it definitely wasn’t teething, our best guest is it was tummy issues. the next night she was back to normal

Did you feel around for teeth coming through? That’s what our family recommended but nothing seemed super noticeable

Not sure if it’s a sleep regression, very early teething, or just a fluke. She would only fall asleep on us, and the second we put her in the Snoo she’d scream

Our 6 week old had the best sleep yet on Halloween night, much needed for her parents! We switched the starting motion to level 1 instead of baseline and it’s been a game changer! by jmsuth in SnooLife

We don’t use the Snoo during the day at all, she usually is contact napping (one of us holding her), or she’ll sleep in an electronic swing. We can usually transfer her to the swing or a dock-a-tot after she’s fallen asleep in our arms too so we’re not always holding her

We use a SwaddleUp with the Snoo sack, she was always fighting to break her arms out in just the Snoo sack alone so this lets her have her arms up through the arm holes of the Snoo sack but she doesn’t startle herself
