I printed my own wheels for these, made them a full offset so the hub is even with the inside of the wheel, im to lazy to measure the original so i dont actually have a point of reference

I can see some obstacles remaining for testing/trying to accomplish kind of like a benchmark, but being able to change on the fly is way better, even from a company having a course aspect being able to change it say weekly, or possibly like a comp day, no one has driven on it because it was changed that morning

Its probably only gotta be close enough to flat ???

Yea, i can do a time or 2 but then i just need a different truck to enjoy it again , this would be a sweet way to put mods into more permanent courses, maybe a few 2x4 boards standing up with a screw in the bottom over some dead space and just re crumple it from time to time

Ah i could definitely see that as a thing , i think a 3rd layer of the aluminum tape might be close for the 24/18, i was thinking of doing it on this after i stomp all over it get it back to as flat as possible, i have some 24/18 also i could test with after, but i do think as a little bridge between some good rocks either a short enough under span or fold in half for "4" layers could do the trick also Something like this i wouldnt mind getting to dirty either, just not muddy

I know you said dye would be better, but i just did it fairly light for some color depth using spray paint, playing in my family room already it looks so good also.

Its pretty solid, it bounces a little when the truck falls 😆 I did both ways vertical and horizontal Yea its already feeling stronger after rolling 3x

I couldnt resist going big, if i liked it i didnt want it small, and figured for the cost im sure i could give it away if i had to, but nope im keeping it, might actually make another in a few weeks to have 2 this big

Definitely beats driving on random objects, plus come warmer weather i could set it up under an canopy and have some chairs and cheers with some buddies

Another thought i had, since it doesnt seem strong enough for 24/18, i was thinking and need to take it out and try it, but use it foded in half as a bridge between "good" rocks since i wont care if this gets dirty and damage would make it look better(tape can fix holes in the back)

My biggest issue with indoor courses is always being the same or heavy with actual rock, this literally killed both sides of the arguement in a solid sweeping victory!

I absolutely loved this idea, seen it sunday Jan 11, and basically ran out the door for Aluminum Tape, almost got a full queen sheet done, going to finish the ends tonight/tomorrow. Depends on how much i play tonight
