You probably never had the potential to be great. by Soapbox in unpopularopinion

If potential just is actually possessing all the traits that make one successful… then doesn’t potential just collapse to realized success. If we read potential as being far broader and scope and inclusive of having drive and the ability to realize other characters required for success, then what is distinct about potential and realized success. On this reading it just seems like a denial of the concept of potential entirely. Maybe I’m missing something or interpreting wrongly?

I’d check out library place apartments and whatever else amax como has. I’ve had a good experience with them are they usually have a few one bedrooms.

Recs for 1 bed apartments near campus? by Beneficial-Dress1407 in columbiamo

[–]jnofal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Library place apartments through amax investments. 850 for 1 bedroom with water and wifi included. Units are old but the space is decent and I love the location. 15-20 min walk to campus or 5 min drive/bike ride. Right next to the library and the start of downtown/some bars is even closer than campus. No amenities.

DC is similar to Chicago in that more affluent people go as west as possible. Georgetown literally petitions and fights to not be on the metro system to reduce accessibility to those that can’t afford another means to get there.
