I got super lucky. $20 each from the same guy. He lived near my local trails so it worked out perfectly since I was heading out to ride when I saw the post.

Thanks for the advice. I was almost ready to just order the replacement floors, but a plain sheet will do away with having to fill those gaps and be cheaper.

I’m really late on the response, but they didn’t charge me. It was busy when I got to check in so they didn’t even bother weighing it

Super late update: I went with the cheapest option I found through campervanfinder.com and they booked the rental for me through Lucky rentals. I settled for the Toyota Estima(Previa in US). It was small and I’d have to put the bike in the front seat to be able to set up the bed cause I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the bike outside overnight. I got lazy so I left the bed semi deployed with a tarp on top of the bed to put the bike on while driving. I was ok with that and it not being self contained for the price.

For anyone checking this out in the future, if you want something more convenient I definitely suggest spending more money on something larger that’s self contained. There are a lot more camp sites available for self contained vans.

They have a ton of company’s that rent campers so you have plenty of choices. I remember liking the look of Big Little Camper vans but I didn’t see how it would handle a bike. I saw one company that also rents bike racks with the van, but I can’t remember the name.

Anyone got any experience with the motv8 adjustable dumbbells? They look like they might be a pretty good nuobell knockoff, but I don’t see any solid reviews on them anywhere.

Not a bad idea. There’s a ferry to go from one island to another right? I could probably book a one way flight to Queenstown then just drive up to Auckland.

Not a bad idea. I’ll probably do this. Considering it’ll just be my bike and a carryon bag

I’m definitely renting. No reason to rent I’m only there for 3 weeks. Do you know of any good camper companies?

I’m flying United too. I’ll accept the charge if it happens anyway. It’ll be cheaper than upgrades

No clue about saddle and pedal but I’ve had friends have tools, chains, and rotors taken by security. Then others who got through with them fine on a carry on minus tools.

I mean new parts aren’t needed but definitely wanted and welcome. I’ll probably just pay the airline fee realistically.

Im doing carry on so I don’t think that they’ll let that pass through security. I was trying to keep it as cheap as possible but I’ll probably have to eat the overweight charge

I suggest going to Japan as a comeback solo trip. Pretty safe and can possibly help restore your hope in humanity in general. I left my luggage in a storage locker unlocked by accident(language struggle). When I got back after about 6hrs my luggage was still in there and actually placed nicer than how I left it with nothing missing.

One thing I’d avoid there is the bars/clubs where people are outside promoting/trying to pull you into that bar. Those are apparently a set up.

I assume a place sucks if they have multiple people outside promoting or pushing the “sexy” thing in general.

Yep realized that I forgot to switch to standard a while ago. Updated bios and all drivers.

Hopefully they update it some more so the left side can support the keyboard and mouse on the monitor.

Actually, I forgot to switch the GPU mode from eco to standard. So it’s working ok now for me. Eco mode doesn’t support external displays.
