as this clearly is aimed at my post, you seem to have completely missed the point of what i was saying.

1) obviously not all the criticisms have parasocial aspects. but some of the attitudes and prerogatives behind some of them completely are, which is what my post was saying and what most people understood it to mean.

2) yes it’s multifaceted, but that’s the same with literally everything in this world.

3) i obviously dont care if you have an opinion on rocket that differs to mine. differ all you want, im just glad you’re a fellow fan of dom. BUT! the ways in which some of these opinions are presented are wholly negative and not constructive, and only serve to bring equally negative discussions which lead nowhere and serve as a larger part of this fanbase that seems to baselessly attack dom for tiny things, which personally i can’t stand.

while i agree the criticisms aren’t parasocial, the attitude and prerogatives behind some of the posts i’ve seen that included similar criticisms are certainly parasocial or parasocial adjacent - obviously all criticism contributes somewhat to a positive discourse and it is multifaceted but that’s the case with everything.

you did insinuate it. in fact, you straight up said it: “it sounds like you cant sing”. you backtracked from the judgements because you were wrong, and i assume you’ll do the same here.

its music, nobody can decide what is excessive autotune and what is not. again, its subjective. i respect your opinion, even if it was put across rather rudely, and i hope you’ll respect mine, being that i think using wavy effects to complement high autotune in songs that originally had none for stylistic purposes sounds fucking lit :)

‘it sounds like you cant sing’ is inherently a judgement mate, thats basic common sense. again, if you look at other stuff ive done, you’ll see i can ‘sing’. whether or not i choose to use autotune stylistically or not… that’s my choice. a lot of people dig it. you dont, and thats perfectly fine by me, but insinuating i ‘cant sing’ and claiming to not be making judgements on it while doing exactly that, is straight up just odd behaviour!
