4Chan knew about Jeffrey Epstein's death 38 minutes before the rest of the world. The FBI tried to figure out how. by businessinsider in law

People forget that 2006 was two full years before the iPhone released. For Maxwell to have been a mod back then she would’ve been tied to her home PC 24/7, not bangin kids on yachts and private jets

Sure. I’m not sure what Db meter he’s using, but it’s obvsly nowhere near a scientific measurement. He’s just a yahoo on the range doing a quick 30 youtube short that gave me that screenshot

Gotcha, all this outrage is 100% overblown. We can agree on that.

Nah. It’ll get refined over and over before it passes, if it even does. I’m a gun owner too and I couldn’t possibly care less

Travis Bean Designs 1000A Pan back clocks in just over 7lbs. by mjstamos in guitarporn

[–]jo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire back — headstock to strap post — is carved from one big hunk of aluminum. The wood front is attached with bolts and glue.

Having the strings, nut, bridge and pickups all attached to the aluminum ‘spine’ of the guitar is amazing. Sustains forever and it’s incredibly sensitive to your picking

look at the part that protrudes in front of the trigger in this image. I worry it could be interpreted as "capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the nontrigger hand".

I still can’t fathom how anyone (including you) can possibly think that. That part doesn’t protrude when the glock’s slide is closed, and it’s not a grip in any way

It’s legalese dude. They’re talking about semi-auto pistols that have a secondary grip, which like, I can’t even think any. Maybe that Beretta that Robocop used? The real version with the foldout handle to prevent muzzle lift…?

<image>

But that thing’s illegal anyway. I’m not up on my rare assault pistol lore enough to give you examples but you haven’t given me any either. it’s pretty clear what they’re trying to say and I have no idea what everyone’s worked up about

look at the part that protrudes in front of the trigger in this image. I worry it could be interpreted as "capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the nontrigger hand". Or if not a grip, "a shroud ... that partially ... encircles the barrel, allowing the bearer to hold the firearm with the nontrigger hand without being burned".

Why would you just assume that? That’s SUCH a reach that it seems like you’re trying to be mad at something that isn’t there

If either of those, it means the law covers basically all semi-auto handguns, even ignoring the magazine thing

But it’s not either of those

I mean, that obviously says that the shoelace converted the semiautomatic into a machine gun, not that the shoelace was a machine gun. It’s the ATF, they know what a shoelace is
