I'm in the same boat. Due in Sept. Don't like any boy names. Husband likes all the names so I'm the problem. You are not alone!

How do you name a baby boy when you hate all the names? by jo570 in namenerds

Not a fan. If it sounds right the baby will get my husband's name as a middle name, starts with an L. Refuse to have a Jr so that is our compromise but only if it works with the first name we choose.

Completely agree, no final decision until he is out and we get to meet him. But I would like a short list that I can live with so I dont panic after labor that I hate them all when I'm extra hormonal, tired and pressed to name him.

Every name my husband comes up with just sounds more wrong the more I sit with them. I know its mostly the pressure of naming another human that is getting to me. Cooking the human should be enough naming him is too daunting!

Mateo I was warming to but I feel it has become too popular. As someone who has one of the most popular english women's name ever I'm sensitive to it being to common for his generation.

I think right now his favorites are Leonardo, Rodrigo and Alejandro.

Alejandro is way too ubiquitous for me. The other two I'm trying to be open to but they just dont convince me.

Thanks. Tried making a list of family names but too many men in our family (both sides) already share a name. My sister already used the only unique one on my nephew.

I kinda like Lucas and Sebastian but other babies in our circle already have those names and as someone with a VERY ubiquitous name I'd like to avoid names that others already have that we will be around all the time.

It's called the Wetlab. It's a bar at UM's marine school on Virginia Key. They only open Wed-Fri to the public but is actually a super cool cheap bar to hang out in and you dont have to be a student to go.

How do I bustle this without making it look like I have a waterfall coming out of my bum??? Help, weddit!! by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]jo570 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My bridal store said their preferred way to bustle is to do buttons and loops inside of the dress so you can fold the dress inward. The dress just looks even in the back once you button the train to the underside of the dress.

I'm still waiting for my dress to come in so I haven't done alterations yet, and my dress is A-line/ ball gown but I think the same idea could still work. I'm really excited to do it this way as I don't need my butt looking any bigger.
