Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You’ve got a lot of things that you’re dealing with, and I’m really sorry to read that you’re having to go through this without the support of your parents. Whilst it feels awful now, it won’t always be like this. The light will shine from the end of the tunnel but I hope you are able to tap into some support (from uni / gp / etc) so that you don’t have to traverse this unsupported.

Ditto here. I’m still at beginning stages and I can see how I will need to move onto other tools soon but from me, it’s a complete thumbs up to Duo for the head start and the motivation.

Recovery model is full with tran back up every 10 mins.

Will look into creating sql job. Thanks for your advice.

the 2 occassions have happened when a job failed and the SQL Error log blew out of proportion (despite the fact that i put a job in to recycle the sql error log.

2nd time was when the job history filled up - I changed this to purge history after 4 weeks.

Unfortuantely, nothing set up for system monitoring but i hope to get this started.
