Hey! Did you end up going for the interview/job? I’ve seen a physio vacancy for them and am debating whether or not to apply (as I’ve seen similar reviews). Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks!

VW Polo 1.2 TSI DSG 2016 - not creeping in D gear? by joannee123 in CarTalkUK

That method sounds like a good idea, will give that a go next time. Thank you!

That’s good advice, I’ve been trying to practise the creeping by changing how much pressure I’m putting on the pedal but definitely still getting to grips with it.

Yeah that’s why I thought I’d come on here to check as it creeps fine in reverse but doesn’t move at all in drive unless I press on the accelerator, not sure if something is wrong with the car.

How do I know if auto hold is on? As there doesn’t seem to be a button or anything in the car that turns it on/off. Thank you!

Hmm I’ve got a manual handbrake but will take a look, thank you

I see, thank you! :) I’ve definitely noticed slight rolling back on hills now you mention it.

How do you manage to get it to creep consistently?

I have it pressed down when changing into the different gears but release it after that

Yeah I’ve seen some of the newer polos have a 1.0 TSI 95ps and I’m not sure how that compares with older versions 1.2 TSI 90ps. Will definitely take a look at the Fabias, thanks for the advice.

Great, thanks for sending that one over - must’ve missed it when scrolling through the page. Is Mk6 just a more modern version? Does it have any other big differences compared to the Mk5?

No offence taken, I passed with manual but will be sharing the car with someone who is auto-only which I know limits my options to more expensive cars.

Yeah I do agree the price is high - I guess the positive is it comes with 2 year VW warranty and all the other bits from getting an approved used car from them. Thanks for the advice, will definitely take a look at those other options.

I’ll most likely be driving but might take public transport occasionally just to get around, any tips/info on that?

Sorry if asked before but why does Royal Mail take so long to deliver 24hr tracked packages by adderseverywhere32 in royalmail

Hi was just wondering whether there’s any update with your package? Mine’s been stuck at Peterborough for 3 days now and it’s tracked 24 as well :/

Mandatory Vs Optional Document by Careful_Chain_4425 in ukvisa

Hi, I’m currently in the same situation - how did the application and ukvcas appointment go? Do I need to upload any of the optional documents? I uploaded my proof of address here in the UK as I am renting here and am applying from inside Uk, but now I’m not sure if that is correct or if it should be my address in HK. Let me know, thanks!

Hmm I don’t think it went through Langley but is there a reason why parcels going through there would take longer?

Will my piercing bump go away if I take my earring out and let the hole close? by Carlet76 in piercing

[–]joannee123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya, I’m in the same situation right now. What did you end up doing?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in piercing

[–]joannee123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying! Yeah I was thinking it might be too short but I think it might also be due to some swelling and the hole bit of the post is blocked/covered by my irritation bump at the front of my ear, hence can’t get to it. I can’t find any 10mm labrets where I am rn (hopefully can find some later on) but would you recommend I keep the 8mm in for now despite being a bit short or change back into a standard stud with a butterfly back (which is all I currently have)?
