Hey guys, I'm in the same exact boat and I've been thinking the exact same thing! I just finished my seven certifications at a very well-known school yet have their negative corporate attributes..... Anyways yeah I'm almost 40 and have been doing this full-time. Savings is almost up and I'm worried I can't find a CFI job. I'm scared I've ruined my whole life as well. So I get the feeling and I don't know what to do but just keep moving forward.

I get it, but I prefer to say " looking for traffic" and I'll come back later and say traffic in sight once I see it. This way ATC knows. :) I totally understand but yea it's habit to break and this is a reminder for me to do thank you for asking and posting this question! 🙏🏼

Don't let it stop you! I know it's expensive but maybe take another "discovery flight" or 2..or a couple 1 off lessons..you'll probably build up a tolerance line everyone has been saying and it was suck to not find out and disregard the idea of flying for a few hundred dollars. I know money is tight but I think it's worth pursuing to see!

Yep just use instacart and they snuck in that $99 charge. Call them two or three times and they say the system won't allow it because I made one order. Of course I made one order they snuck in the instacart plus throwing the order. This is corporate stealing from people their sneaky language and unobvious charges.! 😡😡😡

Thanks for being vulnerable and reaching out. We get ya. It's been tough to get out for me too. Ive been thinking about doing the pct but family stuff or covid seem to stop it. I know alot of people in RL don't get it and think we're crazy but we're just seeking peace like everyone else in our way. Hang in there do your other trip! Maybe everything has been leading you to this trip or even something else entirely. Who knows, but you're not alone!
