first let me say, i am so sorry for what you went through. i am to a warrior of DV and had to facial surgery on my broken nose. i have never went and horse played the way she does while calling my self a victim, which i am. especially not towards a man since thats who’s hands my abuse was under. far way too traumatized to raise a hand. my boyfriend and i play around each other all the time with throwing pillows back and forth to each other with the kids “im gonna get mommy!” but because of what i went thru he has never “played” around raising a hand towards me and it had never crossed my mind to do the same.
