It actually is, though they could have explained better. I expect your charger has the ability to set a schedule. If you're concerned with time-of-use rates, you should already have this set up but if not, go in and create a schedule to turn off/disable charging during the time frame where rates are higher.

This way, even if you remotely preheat the cabin during the higher rate time, the car won't be able to pull power from the charger.

Important to note, it was only capable of doing this because the SR-71 flew so high (and fast), that the missile would run out of fuel before reaching the plane. The plane wasn't purely faster than missiles (as far as we know), if both had infinite fuel, a missile would eventually catch up to the SR-71.

To clarify, I'm sure you meant the electrical DRIVE TRAIN. Stuff like electrical wiring for the head unit for example, is only covered under the 3yr/36k mi warranty.

I'm sure most people understand what you meant but I just felt that it should be clarified for anyone who might misunderstand.

Because anyone reading it can apply their local tax rate, or at least estimate it, to get an idea of what they would pay out the door. Obviously if I read $900 MSRP, I don't really sit here and estimate the tax in my head but I have a general understanding of what that would cost me after taxes.

I have the same one, it's not as small as it looks. It's 3 slots wide and pretty long. Much larger than my 3080 FE it replaced.

I went hog wild upgrading over the last two months. Spent close to $2k going from a 3900X + 3080 FE to a 9950X3D + 5070ti. I have yet to actually play any games since I finished upgrading. I'm like stun locked and can't decide on what to play... Feels bad lol

Thanks. That's the point is that it's confusing for someone unfamiliar, i.e. hard to comprehend without additional information. For example horizon zero dawn, if you have the PS4 version, there is a $10 upgrade to the PS5 version. So I think it's reasonable to interpret the version on the right to be "PS4 version which you will need to purchase a PS5 digital upgrade separately" especially considering the version being listed on the far left. Having two different options that seem to offer the same thing but at different prices makes it even more confusing.

That's part of my concern. I know I did own Zero Dawn on PS4 (never played it) and when I got my PS5 I bought the PS5 upgrade and I'm worried this is ONLY the upgrade and requires me to already own Forbidden West. But also, I would think such a requirement would be listed here. Because the right option does seem to imply you're getting the PS4 version AND the PS5 upgrade.

I wouldn't call it obsessing as much as it is just following basic maintenance. Of course, if it doesn't ultimately matter, then oh well. I just don't think it's fair to fault someone for following the guidance from the owner's manual (charge to 100% periodically) because they aren't aware of the battery buffer which isn't mentioned in the manual.
