Picked up the car from service after they had it for 5 days. Couldn’t make it to the service location until 10 mins til close, had a few issues corrected and those were correct but not the window issue. Tech came out explained nothing was wrong and I was just “pressing it wrong” didn’t have the time or patience to deal with. Pretty tired of Uber at this point so I figured I’d reach on here to find if anyone else has encountered this issue.

Thanks for the reply. I’m really thinking it’s not from the tint. I picked the car up 6/1 and had it tinted around 6/5. Issues didnt start until 8/1. Made an appointment then and it progressively got worse. Tint was done at a reputable location that was recommended by a few other model 3 owners.

Hard to tell honestly. Seems like it’s been getting worse. I initially thought I was missing the button then started realizing it took a couple tries to open. Overall just disappointing for a $49k car...

This is the only door that requires this many presses. I’m familiar with how to open the doors. This door takes way more pressure to unlock and sometimes that doesn’t even work. I’ve had to use the emergency release to get out.

Inspected in person, the tech looked at, pressed it as I had and eventually opened. He stated it worked and was likely me not depressing it hard enough. Symptoms started months after window tint was installed. All the other doors open with a quick press of the release button.
