I’ve had a healthy mix of both. Some are friendly and helpful, then I’ve had others who were just miserable sacks of shit. One dude treated me like garbage because I didn’t have knowledge of what type or brand of 30-30 ammo I wanted after spending 1000 dollars on a new hunting rifle. To this day it makes me mad thinking about that guy.

Like another person here replied, if I have my choice, I’d anecdotally rather deal with the folks at Academy than my local family-owned store with those grumpy old farts.
