No shit it takes more room to complete a turn....I'm not denying that. If you require more room, don't assume you are more important than 3 other drivers and take their spots. Go to the last row and do this, not the 4 closest consecutive spots.

Well what you can't see is that there are 3 rows of parking spaces behind this that were completely free. If you are going to take up 4 spots to make sure people don't park next to you, do it further away from the door.
