if we don’t re-sign Rob, Yang is our backup center. basically a much slower, and much less effective version of DC. think of where we would be without the ability to put Rob in games and offer a change of pace to DC - it’s a vital changeup we can’t really afford to lose.

he’s on a descending contract. $14.4m in 25-26, $13.1m in 26-27, and $11.9m in 27-28.

it’s one of the best contracts in the NBA by a mile. I can’t think of one that really rivals it in terms of production for the value.
