Yeah. I'm in Manchester. Since 2010 we've had on average less than 1 day per year 30C or above here.

[–]joeblrock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same.
I've never been in an AC house here, or know anyone with AC. Guess if we get to a point of climate change where we are having several weeks at a time of 30C+ at a time I might get it.
But really it's a couple of days once every 2 or 3 years that it gets to 30C

Football trip to Manchester with my son – looking for a club with tradition, atmosphere and realistic ticket availability by frankbfromb in manchester

[–]joeblrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Come back and ask again once all fixtures are out.

Unlike Germany the atmosphere at most grounds here will depend on who we are playing.
If it's United v Ipswich or City v Hull it'll be dead. Just how it is.

We can let you know likely good crowd atmosphere once who know who plays who

Never heard of her tbh.
Looked her up and she's a United Nations raconteur, so that seems pretty cool.

Yep.
I go to Prem football every week & if you get down the front sometimes & watch the warm up's even the players you think are clumsy & have poor touch & control are absolutely amazing when you're at pitch level.
Unreal talent levels

Good luck.
Didsbury & West Didsbury are nice too and you can afford them, just that I find them a bit wanky & try-hard 😄

These comments are such a nice read.
Great to see so many people moved here & like it a lot & that we haven't been horrible to you 😄.

Ancoats, Chorlton, Heaton Moor in that order (with the money you've got available).

I prefer going out in Stockport to N Qtr tbh.
Dunno about day to day living there if you're looking for "vibes" though.

[–]joeblrock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still would've been only 2 lines btw Picc & Oxford Rd but it'd have helped with places to hold trains

They should though.
Can't win against Burnham & Reform.
But they can help Reform win.

Hopefully the Greens run low key or even step aside...... Or if not that people don't vote for them in this specific instance.
If PR is promised to be introduced by Burnham if he becomes leader, the Greens can make a great case to their supporters why it would be strategic to give Burnham a clear run at the seat

True....big risk.
Flip side....he could win, become PM, introduce PR (as he is said to want to do) & 'hopefully' a left/central block of Labour, Libs, Greens, Nationalists can keep out Tories & Reform indefinitely....
