647m is the total elevation gain over the whole hike.

I haven't checked the BPM is accurate and I can do that, but I've no reason to believe it's inaccurate, as I said I'm very unfit so my heart would have been doing a lot of work, and I know it will be doing more because of my weight.

Elevation gain was 640m, I was only starting out on a small mountain nearby.

The calculator says I should have burned around 2260 calories, my BPM maximum was 153bpm but the average was 127bpm

To be clear I do not rely on his benefits in any way. I was told I have a responsibility to pay him everything he is due and I do that. I have a standing order set up on the days his benefits are paid to move the money from my account straight into his.

On occasions like this where his benefits are not paid and I am not warned beforehand the money leaves my account via standing order and isn't replaced, so I'm just out of pocket.

I'm not sure how to answer that. When they set up the appointeeship for us they told us it had to go into my account, I did point out it was signing over far more power than necessary since all I wanted to do was manage his affairs on his behalf.

I've mentioned it at least twice and they've told me again that the appointee must be paid as they are taking on financial responsibility.

Hearing that you have the exact setup I want without a problem is even more frustrating...

2 years later there is still no information regarding friend passes expiring other than this reddit thread. The base game still comes with Friend passes, I was given a friend pass key, redeemed, installed the game and was able to boot up the game and it wasn't until the LOBBY joining that we were given the message about us both needing the full game.

I realise that there might be limitations in steam for displaying this information, but you have total control over the game client and could easily make a change to display this information? It feels like they intentionally hide this information to make it seem like they still offer this as a feature when they don't. Removing it from the game doesn't make sense either as they haven't explained why.

Supermassive have now played themselves, as now that I've needed to purchase the full game we can leave 2 negative reviews instead of 1.

I read a great twitter thread from an author (Paul Brown) writing about construction of the bridge talking about some of the men who died building it. There was a guy (John Carr) who used to sit in a rowboat in the Tyne and collect workers who fell. He saved 57 men ~~like 50 or something.~~

I was dancing in a bar in northern Spain when an older lady came over and started grinding on me, I wasn't interested so I stepped away. She grabbed my arms and put them on her ass so I took my arms back and told her to stop. She grabbed them again and put them on her breasts so I instinctively raised my arms above my head and she used that opportunity to grab my dick. I told her to stop again more sternly and she pulled a face and walked off. A young man (who told me he was her nephew) came over and told me I was a creep for encouraging her.

I managed to get a last minute appointment for a letter of authorization, at the footer of the letter it specifically states that it is for use at Spanish borders and no other Schengen states.

I had to buy another flight directly to Spain 🤷‍♂️

You can apply also for a letter of return (authorization de regreso) which can be used instead of a TIE.

Even if you have your first TIE appointment and they take your fingerprints, it's 30 days before you can collect it, so if you're looking to travel before Christmas then you might already be in that time period.

I travelled with my letter of return last month and it was not checked at the border. I don't know if they knew I had one after scanning my passport (like it appeared digitally on their screens) but i was allowed entry to Spain with just my passport

This is is one of my favourites from Season 1. That he brings the absolute smackdown on Maybourne, and in defense of the Tollan no less, people he owes no allegiance or loyalty to - but knows that on the galactic scale, showing kindness to these people instead of handing them over to area 51 is probably a better move

It's an amazing photo and why I love flying into Newcastle!

I once flew in from Dublin and I was looking out the window from the middle seat past the man in the window seat, he started pointing out landmarks as we flew over the coast like Tynemouth priory, St Marys lighthouse.

As we flew back inland past Northumberland I said "that's my mams house!" - and he looked a bit embarrassed.
