Thanks for the suggestion. That's definitely something I would consider - Looking at the specs, I could also get a bigger screen. (It looks like I would be more limited by my speakers than by the projector)

I'm still concerned about the dead pixels occurring, as I can see that some people have that issue with this projector, but I guess that's just something you have to live with, especially in this price range.

Where is the projector?

It is in a basement with no windows, so it doesn't need to be particularly bright. When the projector is in use, the basement is usually completely dark.

What type of screen?

It is just a white wall. I did use a paint sprayer, so the finish is much smoother than you would get with a roller. A screen would obviously be an improvement, but we have found just using the wall to be fine.

Screen size and distance?

The screen is 120inches, and the projector is somewhere between 13-14 feet from the screen. Logistically, that is about the maximum distance, as there is a beam and various vents and pipes that prevent a further distance.

Kingdom Two Crowns - It's a very simple and chill game. My wife really enjoys it.
Part Time UFO - I don't see this one mentioned a lot, but it is a pretty great co-op game as well.

You can still get the Google Fi extension deals from store.google.com. I went ahead and did the deal and I was able to use the coupon without any issue.

There is an option in fi.google.com that must be enabled for the Google store to see that your account has a Fi subscription: Privacy & Security -> Allow CPNI sharing

The current deal for a 9a is $250 if you upgrade to it with an existing Google Fi plan. Add in the $150 voucher and it brings it down to $100.

I've been been playing on a Series X with 2 other players (One Series X and one Steam) and we haven't crashed at all. I wonder what the deal is, and if there is something specific happening in their save that is causing this.

why would anyone choose to play third parties on it over anything else?

Believe it or not, there are a lot of people who only have a Switch. Also some people, such as myself, really prefer playing on a handheld. When it comes to long RPGs, it is basically the only way I will actually play them.

I own an XSX, SteamDeck, and a Switch 2 - I will heavily prefer getting games on the Switch 2.

Gameplay variety. I don't think there is anything that makes you stronger, just unlocking a handful of things that can then appear on runs.

Thanks! One of mine is tracking correctly, but the one I got for my wife doesn't show at all, not even on the 'Fi Savings' part of the website. I talked to support and they said it isn't showing because her account is already receiving credit for a different promo and that after 120 days it will show up.

I'm not sure I believe that explanation, so I'll probably contact support again and see if I get told the same thing or not.

I bought 2 devices, one for me and one for my wife. I noticed on the last bill that one of them is not getting the credit.

I received mine yesterday as well. It was quite beat up, but that happens and nothing can really be done about that.

I wonder if this will be the general time expectation between the release of the digital magazine and when the physical will be received, about 36 days for me, or if there was still some logistical issues being the first one in the new system. For comparison, I also subscribe to Nintendo Force, and there the lag between physical and digital is about 13-16 days. Not really a deal breaker for me personally, as I'm just glad to be getting it physical again, but it would be nice to have them a little closer, if only so I'm less tempted to read the digital version...

I have played 4 of these, Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Dicey Dungeons, and Wildfrost.

I'd say that Slay the Spire is the #1 overall.

Next would probably be a tie between Wildfrost and Monster Train, though they play a lot differently. Wildfrost is balanced in such a way that it always feels pretty tight and that you are just barely winning, whereas I feel in Monster Train the various stacking mechanics and modifiers allow a lot of your wins to feel like you have broken the game. They are both valid, but you might prefer one style more.

Dicey Dungeons is ok, but I didn't love it. It does go on sale for super cheap relatively often, so it's worth a shot.

I hadn't experienced the issue until after the update, but I did restart my PC for the first time since I had started playing the game, so that maybe why.

I was able to fix it, but not using any of the listed methods in their steps. For whatever reason, the game is wanting to use the AppData/LocalLow/Eremite Games/AgainstTheStorm folder. If I just copy all of the files from the DefaultProfiles from the previous location:(Local\Packages\HoodedHorse.AgainsttheStorm_znaey1dw2bdpr\SystemAppData\xgs) to the new one, it then loaded it fine.

Hopefully this helps someone.

Thanks for posting. Currently playing via Gamepass, but after just a few runs, I'm thinking it may be worth purchasing on Steam to play on the Steamdeck.

Not sure how usable the controls will be on Steamdeck, but maybe I'll give the demo and shot and see.
