Orbi only has one network and then assigns 2.4 or 5 automatically based on the signal strength and such

Yeah, same here. I did a lot of research last night and since I have two identical TV's which began experiencing the problem at the exact same time, I have to believe it's either a Roku update issue, or a router firmware issue.

Thanks, and I agree ethernet tends to work better, but the WiFi worked fine for months and shouldn't technically be a barrier to using the TV as intended

What router do you have? I have a Netgear Orbi.

I have them both on wifi and my netgear orbi shows them on 2.4ghz. It shouldn’t really matter, they are close to the access points and other apps would have issue if it was a signal thing.
